The True Alaskan Experience

Our guests visit Alaska in search of a personal connection to the places and people

We believe this deeper level of understanding is exactly what is needed to gain a true appreciation of the region. To this end, we staff our vessels with knowledgeable expedition leaders, who act as personal guides on every voyage.

Our naturalists focus on the biology, geography, and ecology of the Inside Passage, while our Cultural Heritage Guides are well versed in the lifestyle, legends, and practices of Southeast Alaska’s intriguing cultures. Having these guides by your side for every step of your journey- from kayak expeditions to dining- ensures no question will ever go unanswered.

Evenings feature compelling educational programs in our onboard lounges. You can also choose to further your understanding of the region by delving into our library, which features literature pertaining to the nature and history of the Inside Passage. When you retire to your room at the end of each day, you’ll find a nightly turndown letter, which details the next day’s activities and provides a sneak peak of the local history, geography, and wildlife of the area you’ll be visiting.

Of course, this is just the preliminary plan. Alaska often provides spontaneous, once-in-a-lifetime opportunities. We allow our discerning officers the time and flexibility to adjust the daily schedule when unique occasions arise.

An Excellent Crew -

“It was nice getting to know the Captain and others there. It was always special to me to begin my day there seeing where we were as well as watching the sunrise over the Alaskan mountains and waters. The cruise was a great escape for us all. Sharing the experiences of the serenity of the humpback whales, the activities of the orcas, the excitement of the bears, and the challenges of the salmon going up the rivers will touch our lives forever. The towns, the people, and the scenery will always be remembered. Alaskan Dream Cruises has put together a great package for folks like us to experience. All this with a great ship captain and an excellent crew thrown in – wow. How lucky can we be.”
